Position Summary :
As a nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
You must meet the physical, psychosocial, religious / cultural needs of the patient and family. You must also communicate effectively with all healthcare team members about changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment.
Minimum Requirements :
- Completing the Nursing Diploma Program or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.
- You must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required within 6 months of employment for Superflex RN positions.
- A current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is also required. Handle with care is preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
