Summary of Duties :

The Electrical Foreman will need to be well experienced in being able to run a commercial job from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Layout normal circuitry, read blue prints while staying within the specifications of the job to ensure job is installed correctly.
• Review power and fixture submittals.
• Keep materials ordered for several days in advance and on the job.
• Run both large and small crews.
• Up to date on local electrical codes.
• Up to date on fire codes.
• Up to date on energy codes.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to put in the hours it takes to complete the jobs he or she is over.
• Willing to be a team player and work directly with his or her project manager

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
• At least 5 years of Commercial experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :

• State of Alabama Journeyman or Master Electrical card.
• Valid Driver’s License to include active liability insurance.
• Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment :

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Loud noise levels.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Language Skills :

• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, management and clients.
• Ability to interact with others with positive professionalism.
• Ability to accurately read and understand technical instructions.

• Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, and procedure manuals.

• Must have strong math skills.
• Ability to utilize common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Ability to take timely action to effectively solve problems, using established policies and procedures.

• Ability to adapt and take on new assignments as needed.
