Responsibilities Work in a hospital setting covering outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU environments MRI procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, maximum intensity projection (MIP), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), perfusion, peripheral MR, spectroscopy, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 & T-2 weighted images Handles adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations Caseload averages 40 per day across 3 MRI rooms Night shift schedule : Thursday to Saturday, 12-hour shifts (5 : 00 PM – 5 : 30 AM) No call or floating required Expected to work independently on third shift with occasional operations assistant support Uses Siemens Avanto and Sola, GE Premier scanners, and PACS (Visage) with EPIC EMR Unit orientation includes 1 week on first shift Will operate independently on night shift after initial orientation Royal blue scrubs required Must complete unit modules and orientation prior to start Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO permitted during first week of assignment Previous employees must have 12 months since last employment for consideration Candidates living less than 50 miles from the facility will receive a local rate Fatigue policy enforced : cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or exceed 60 hours per week Requirements Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required Current BLS certification required ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) certification required Competency with Siemens and GE MRI technology required Experience with PACS and Epic charting required NC or compact state license required if applicable Must be able to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients First-time travelers accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609939.
