Focus Family Care are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals with disabilities and medical conditions improve their quality of life through therapy and rehabilitation.
- Responsibilities*
- Basic self-care activities like dressing and bathing (called activities of daily living)
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to clients based on evaluation and goals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
- Monitor and document client progress accurately
- Participate in discharge planning and recommend adaptive equipment as needed
