McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA for its Urgent Care clinic in North Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include : Rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, performing point of care testing, immunization and other injections, assisting in a fast paced clinical setting, and cross-train to assist with maintaining reception desk activities including but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and assisting with online booking.

Education

• High School diploma, GED or HiSET.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.

Certification / License

Also considering LPN & RN - please view 2025 -125 b & c for posting.

Days : Rotating - 28 - 30 hours

Hours : Rotating M-F 9 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM. Every Third weekend 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM. Rotating Holidays 9 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM

Experience

$2.50 per hour pay differential if you work Saturday and / or Sunday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, please ask for details.
