Virtual School Psychologist
Location : Nebraska (Remote)
Employment Type : Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay : $45 / Hour
Key Responsibilities :
Assessment and Evaluation :
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students' needs.
- Interpret and communicate assessment results to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment outcomes.
Counseling and Support :
- Provide virtual counseling sessions for students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral difficulties.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to support students' mental health and learning needs.
Collaboration and Consultation :
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Serve as a resource for educators on issues related to mental health, learning disabilities, and behavior management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Nebraska School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.
