Essential Functions :

Facility maintenance, up-keep and improvements for operational, safe, and pleasant environment. Including, but not limited to those involving electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, etc.

for all Goodwill locations as assigned.

• Perform and document routine inspections of building and equipment.
• Pick up supplies and materials, as needed.
• Work effectively in a variety of locations and environments including indoors, outdoors, and inclement weather.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds and able to perform the assigned responsibilities (standing, bending, walking, climbing).
• Must be able to work at height while utilizing proper PPE.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area.

Other Duties :

• Performance of other duties on behalf of the agency as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations including but not limited to wearing protective eyewear and gloves, as required.

Qualifications :

• Ability to use good judgment, discretion, and initiative.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compute figures.
• Ability to diagnose problems and recommend solutions and alternatives.
• Experience and knowledge of the mechanics required to address electrical, plumbing, masonry, and carpentry issues.
• Experience with variety of hand tools.
• Familiar with maintenance protocols and safety regulations.
• Dependable, honest, good judgement and flexible in scheduling.
• Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Provide police background report.
• Submit to pre-employment and random drug screens.
• Loyalty to the agency and its policies.

Monday thru Friday 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm.

$17.00-$20.00 / hour
