Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med / Surg Float Pool RN with a WI or compact license and recent Epic experience for night shifts with floating across multiple units.

Responsibilities Work in a hospital float pool, primarily at a 200-bed facility, with floating to additional campuses as needed

Float to Med / Surg, ED, Oncology, Ortho / Neuro, Heart Care, ICU, and similar inpatient units

12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation required

No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Uses Epic EMR, experience within the last year preferred

Required to float between campuses and units according to census

Duties include providing care across multiple inpatient units and adapting to various clinical settings

Candidate must be resilient, able to manage change well, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Scrub color is flexible; any scrubs may be worn

COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved medical or religious exemption is provided

Must participate in holiday coverage rotations as assigned

Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg experience required

Recent acute care hospital experience required

Must be able to read telemetry

At least one completed traveler contract preferred

Recent Epic charting experience required within the last 12 months

Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with strong documentation skills
