Qualifications for a Pediatric Medical Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant :

• Board Certification : Must hold credentials such as CNP or PA-C.
• Pediatric Dermatology Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Pediatric Medical Dermatology.
• Medical Dermatology Skills : Expertise in diagnosing and treating pediatric skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, birthmarks, and skin infections.

Proficiency in performing skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures. Strong knowledge of dermatological pharmacology tailored to pediatric patients.

• Patient-Centered Care : Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care and developing personalized treatment plans for children.
• Communication Skills : Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with children and their families, ensuring they understand treatment options and care plans.
• Team Player : Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Clinical Oversight : Ability to independently oversee and provide clinical care to pediatric patients.
