We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team . The ideal candidate will work closely with our certified Speech Language Pathologist to support students in improving their communication skills and overcoming speech and language challenges.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans and activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct support to students during therapy sessions, ensuring a conducive and engaging learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report findings to the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
- Support the implementation of communication strategies in classrooms and other educational settings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field.
- Previous experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred.
- State Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
