This is the entry-level production category for
hourly employees.
It covers all job tasks associated with the
production process that are class 1
Examples of class 1 positions are general production
employees in departments such as Mega jet, IF, Cone line and all other
processing departments.
Experience is not required, but is preferred
Reliable and dependable; will be at work when
scheduled to work. Available to work any shift.
Positions involve standing for long periods of
time, lifting to 70 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching and grasping.
- Environment : cold (40 to 45 degrees), floors are wet.
- Must follow all guidelines related to SSOP’s,
GMP’s, PPE’s, etc.
Must follow all rules in line with the company
handbook, including attendance, break times, etc.
Physical
Requirement :
- Standing and / or walking during the entire shift.
- Requires considerable reaching, lifting, grasping
of product while tumbling the product.
Work in wet, cold environment.
It is very important that you understand all the
procedures above and follow them. It
is your responsibility to see that the product you are working with is
handled properly and does not become contaminated or end up on the
floor.
