About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technician - Clinical Services Job Specialty : Clinical Services - Surgery Job Duration : 12 months Shift : 8-hour Evening Shift (40 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : 3 years of Surgical Processing Technician (SPT) experience with tray assembly experience and previous travel experience License : Certifications : Active CBSPD or CRCST Must-Have : Tray assembly experience- Experience with EPIC and Censitrac for instrument tracking (preferred) Job Description : Perform tray assembly and ensure each tray is complete and accurate- Execute sterilization and wrapping of surgical instruments- Engage in decontamination processes to maintain high standards of hygiene- Inspect instruments to ensure functionality and cleanliness- Conduct high-level disinfection procedures- Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation- Wear the designated procedural scrub colorThis role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in surgical instrument handling and management.
