We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Safety Administrative Coordinator in Deer Park, Texas. The role is anchored in the service industry, primarily focusing on the coordination of safety-related administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing customer accounts, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain Employee Records and Files
- Coordinate Monthly Meetings with Field Staff (as needed)
- Process a Semi-Annual Motor Vehicle Reports
- Assist with Answering Questions Regarding New Hire Orientation, Safety and Drug Screen (must be familiar with DISA) and Training Coordination
- Monthly Safety Meetings - meeting coordination
- Organization of Data Base for Employee Files
- Familiar with 3rd Party Portals - Drug and Alcohol Testing, DISA, Veriforce
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in DOT Compliance and understanding of DOT Regulations
- In-depth knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
- Solid experience in Project Coordination
- Previous experience in an administrative role, providing assistance and support
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using various office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team (this is a fast-paced environment)
