Job Description :
We are currently seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri . Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, but not required.
The school serves a diverse community with a 20% Native Spanish-speaking population, making Spanish language skills a valuable asset.
We are open to various certification levels as long as the candidate's experience aligns with the role.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive social work services to students, including assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and support services.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Qualifications :
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an MSW and schools experience is preferred, but candidates with an MSW and School Cert will also be considered.
Experience in school settings or relevant social work experience.
