About The Position
Job Title : Radiology / Cardiology TechnicianJob Specialty : X-Ray TechnicianJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : Night 4x10-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)Guaranteed Hours : Not specifiedExperience : 18 months required;
exceptions may be made depending on the unit.License : Illinois license is typically required, but exceptions may apply, allowing pending licenses in some situations.
Certifications : American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross certifications required; RQI cards are not accepted.Must-Have : - Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Fingerprinting required 3 days prior to the start date for those not requiring a state license.- Must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as required.
Job Description : - Perform imaging diagnostic procedures as required in the designated unit.- Charting experience with Cerner required.
- Complete non-billable orientation of 16 hours.- Conduct virtual modules up to 16 hours on the first day, to be completed by the end of the day and then annually.
- Adhere to the facility's background policy and seek any required approvals prior to an offer.- Must not be a current or recent employee of the specified hospital within the past 12 months.
- Submittals for requested time off (RTO) can be auto-approved for up to 5 non-holiday days. Anything beyond requires facility approval.
