Responsibilities of Cedars Assistant General Manager
Description of job responsibilities :
The Assistant Manager is expected to run the store as if it were their own, following the leadership of the General Manager.
- With management of;
- day to day operations
- food cost
- labor cost
- staffing and team development
- inventory
- health and food safety standards, and
- sales goals.
The Assistant General Manager's main goal should be to make Cedars a better place each day. This should be achieved through following Cedars SOPs and systems, delegation, and accountability.
General Responsibilities :
- Helping implement System of Operation guidelines to improve and maintain high quality restaurant procedures
- Maintaining regular, strong communication with the General Manager to act as the eyes and ears inside the restaurant
- Supervising and directing the workforce, including executing goals for team members
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality
- Monitoring the store’s financial performance
- Managing safety and security within the store in respect to local health department guidelines as well as security within the mall.
- Acting as the Problem Solver for all restaurant operations and facility issues as they arise, in communication with the GM
- The Assistant General Manager is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Cedars 5 core values of Generosity of Spirit, Intention, Authenticity, Humor, & Communication.
Responsibilities of Cedars Catering Manager
Description of job responsibilities :
The Catering Manager is expected to uphold complete control of all catering operations including :
- Building partnerships with administrators ordering catering
- Making outgoing calls to partners to generate leads
- Order intake
- Inventory for catering
- Staffing for execution
- Cooking / plating / expo ’ing catering orders as needed
- Confirming drivers
- Delegating and executing mise en place
- Guest communication before / after events for feedback
- Organization of upcoming orders
General Responsibilities :
- Maintaining email communication with catering inquires
- Inputting new orders into the established system
- Training all new shift leads on how to correctly input new catering orders
- Maintaining full organization of all upcoming catering orders
- Ensure the store has multiple delivery drivers available for use
- Monitoring and maintaining Metrobi site and drivers
- Ensuring proper inventory for orders that will not affect the restaurant
