Role : Business Analyst
Location : Tampa, FL. (Hybrid 2 days on-site)
Duration : 6-month contract
Pay Rate : Up to $50 / hr W2 (Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, LTD Insurance)
Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their team, specializing in Risk & Controls transformation to address evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
This position will be instrumental in leading analysis efforts for significant projects and driving initiatives that refine business, control, and operational processes.
The successful candidate will engage cross-functionally with stakeholders across Front Office, Product, Technology, Control Functions, and Operations, ensuring solutions are effectively aligned with the company’s standards and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead Business & Gap Analysis : Conduct comprehensive analyses across business units, control functions, and operations to identify opportunities for improvement and develop targeted solutions for regulatory changes and control enhancements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with internal clients, technology, and control teams to document and shape the existing and future state operating models.
Facilitate change initiatives across jurisdictions to align with our client’s strategic and regulatory objectives.
- Regulatory Impact Assessment : Evaluate and define the impact of new regulations and policy shifts on our client's Wealth Management operating model, ensuring alignment with internal controls.
- Project Documentation & Support : Develop core project deliverables, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Solution Options Analysis, project plans, process flows, and meeting minutes.
Track project milestones, communicate key actions, and support the end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Process Improvement : Design and document process flows, procedures, and governance frameworks to embed necessary controls, supporting smooth rollout and user adoption.
- Governance & Risk Management : Prepare presentations for senior management and actively manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary to ensure project success.
Knowledge & Experience :
- Experience in Wealth Management or Private Banking , with a strong background in business analysis, particularly around large-scale implementations.
- Proven expertise in regulatory project management within the financial services industry, preferably in Wealth Management.
- Strong familiarity with Wealth Management and Private Banking products is a plus; consulting experience is highly advantageous.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships across functional lines and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, with an ability to convey information concisely, especially to senior leadership.
- Acute attention to detail, combined with strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
