• Pay : $25.00- $36.00 / hr (depending on experience)
• DAY and NIGHT shifts open (7 7)
• Night Diff : $3.00 / hr
• Weekend Diff : $2.00 / hr

• $5000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR ALL FT RNS WITH 1+ YEAR OF DIRECT ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE (To qualify, you must have one-year acute care (hospital experience), no LTC or outpatient) What You will Be Doing as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse : Unit Description : The Progressive Care Unit is a 44 bed unit that provides intermediate level inpatient care to adult and geriatric patients.

All beds have telemetry capabilities and patients are monitored unless otherwise ordered by the MD. Mechanisms are in place to monitor patients in transport and during procedures in ancillary departments.

Two negative pressure rooms are available for those patients whose condition requires respiratory isolation. PCU is designed for patients who do not require the level of monitoring provided in the critical care units, but require a higher level of monitoring than provided on the

• Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physician’s orders
• Assess plans, determine the patient's care needs and carry out physician’s orders.
• Listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners need
• Administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.

What You will Need to Have as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse :

• Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
• Florida RN license and / or approved multistate RN license required
• BLS AHA Healthcare Provider
• ACLS - required
• Must have at least 1-3 Years Acute care experience
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of universal precautions
• Basic arrhythmia test recognition have upon hire or within 30 days of hire with a 90% passing score
• PCT support on unit
• Must be willing to care for COVID patients
