Hermitage Hall (a UHS company) is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment Hospitals.
Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over years.
We are currently looking for a Cook to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role requires a full background check including fingerprint, drug screen, and employment verification.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Cook ensures that meals are properly prepared and ready for service on time. He / she must have the ability to work under stressful conditions and keep up with work flows.
He / she must be pleasant and cooperative with fellow workers and be neat and well groomed. He / she should be willing to show understanding in dealing with problems and emotionally disturbed children.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepares meals
- Perform kitchen cook cleaning duties as per schedule
- Record temperature on all equipment

Qualifications
Education and Experience :
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of two years experience working full service culinary operation in cafeteria style.
