Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience;
or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Risk Manager (SCRM) that is not afraid to ask questions, understands the complexity of today's supply chain, and is able to apply critical thinking to create solutions.
The right candidate will bring SCRM analytical and tactical expertise to the team. You will apply those skills while working closely with other Supply Chain professionals, business units, and cross-functional teams to ensure risk awareness and management are at the forefront of decision-making.
You will share risk intelligence, analyze new vulnerabilities, and provide risk strategy recommendations.
The Senior Supply Chain Risk Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and lead the Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) team.
In this role, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and recommending mitigation strategies for the entire Enterprise that support continuity and successful performance.
You will oversee the maintenance and continuing development of tools, metrics, and processes to guide the SCRM team's work.
You will also enhance processes to ensure the SCRM team's ability to identify issues, support mitigation plans, and track resolutions quickly and proactively.
You will provide clear communication of project progress, continuous improvements, and best practices.
As a Senior Supply Chain Risk Manager, you are primarily responsible for supporting the activities around identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating all types of risk within the organization.
You will be required to support resilience and business continuity initiatives. To accomplish these requirements, you will establish and support policies, procedures, and controls to identify and address risks in the Supply Chain and across the organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Serve as a subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of SCRM
- High Proficiency in or strong k nowledge base in Supply Chain operations and policies, including Supply Chain Risk and business continuity
- High Proficiency and understanding in conducting research and using scientific methods to achieve outcomes as demonstrated by r esearch experience, such as previous employment as a research assistant.
- Exercises good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Ability to work on a diverse range of mid-complex problems / proposals.
- Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while demonstrating strong presentation, communication, team building and leadership skills.

- Knowledge of DoDI 01, NDAA 889 (and related D / FAR clauses).
- Proven fluency in Microsoft Applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

- Experience with risk management frameworks.
- Knowledge of SCRM sof tware trends, and te chn ologies.
- Knowledge of the Defense Industrial Base and the federal procurement process.
Duties and Tasks :
- Primary owner of Enterprise -wide supply chain risk management in collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risk while complying with industry standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and continuing development of tools, metrics, and processes to guide the SCRM team's work and drive continuous improvements.
- Present risk analyses and recommendations to leadership and other key stakeholders as needed.
- Support regular reporting of risk or emerging potential disruptions and best practices through white papers, newsletters, internal news sites, and communication meetings.
- Train and develop SCRM team to drive program success.
- Develop and provide training to larger Supply Chain and cross-functional teams as needed to support SCRM activities.
- Continuously conduct research, monitor events, understand market conditions, and report findings related to potential supply chain disruptions along with mitigation recommendations.
- Develop SCRM strategies and action plans with partners to build resiliency.
- Exercise, maintain, and evolve as necessary Business Continuity Plans for the organization supply base.
