We are currently seeking Physician Assistants to join our esteemed Department of Oncology. As part of our astonishing team, you will be collaborating with physician and other healthcare providers for planning, evaluation, coordination, implementation and facilitation of all facets of care for patients.

Physician Assistants are expected to demonstrate advanced and diverse clinical knowledge and skills in the capacity of clinicians, educator, researcher, collaborator and patient advocate to provide both direct and indirect patient care in a semi-autonomous, self-directed role in accordance with professional standards and clinical expertise.

The Physician Assistant will :

Conduct thorough oncology history and physical examinations.

Review and interpret imaging and laboratory information.

Manage medical complications related to advanced cancer.

Manage patients with chemotherapy side effects and complications.

Administer and prescribe medications specialty medications.

Discuss patient care and progress with medical team.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred

Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program.

Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State

NCCPA certified

Oncology experience preferred

Must be able to work across multiple campuses (Moses and Einstein), if necessary
