We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. Starting Dec 1, 2025, this opportunity features a Monday through Friday outpatient clinic schedule with flexible hours between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 30 PM, as well as a rotating call schedule every 4th or 5th week. The role emphasizes oncology consults and benign hematology cases in a consultative capacity. Job Details Location : Indiana Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Outpatient clinic Monday to Friday, 36 hours of ambulatory patient care per week, flexible between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 30 PM; call rotation every 4th or 5th week (one full week at a time); hospital visits for new consults on weekdays, rounding on Saturday and / or Sunday Responsibilities and Duties Provide 70 percent oncology and 30 percent benign hematology consultative services Manage cases involving both solid and liquid malignancies, as well as benign hematology Deliver 100 percent consult-based care in both outpatient and inpatient settings Participate in a rotating call schedule, covering new consults on weekdays and rounding on weekends as required Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information Active nurse practitioner license required in Indiana Board certifications in Hematology and Medical Oncology required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience in hematology and oncology preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
