Sr. Java FSE Engineer (Hybrid Onsite)

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Java Engineer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications.

Location : Charlotte, NC (This role requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week)

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Java 17 with experience in Writing Web API, backend logic (batch jobs / Kafka processors). Good to have Angular / ReactJS background.
• Exposure to Non-Relational DB like MongoDB.
• Kafka
• Proficient in using and adopting CICD Devops tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy / Harness etc.
• Candidate should have good hands-on experience on Java 8, JUNIT, J2EE, Spring boot & Webservices (SOAP & REST).
• Candidate should be able to work as individual contributor
• Candidate should have exposure in microservice applications
• Associates should have good analytical skills, should be able to debug the application and understand the concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as Spring boot Java microservice software developer
• Hands on knowledge on kafka, mongo DB is must
• Familiarity with Agile / Jira / Scrums is mandatory
• Candidate should have basic experience in banking and financial domain.
• Candidate should have experience in different phases of project execution like requirement gathering, analysis, design, unit testing, test support.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000- $125,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
