Job Title : Quality Control Specialist for Mechanical and Plumbing Systems

Position Summary :
United Trades of America is looking for a Quality Control Specialist with a strong background in mechanical and plumbing systems.
This role involves ensuring that all installations meet the highest quality standards and require extensive walking on-site.
Pay Rate :
- Up to $35 per hour, based on experience
- Per Diem : $100 per day worked (only for candidates living over 70 miles from jobsite)
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Inspect mechanical and plumbing installations to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Detects and reports any defects or non-compliance issues.
- Work closely with construction teams to ensure corrective measures are taken promptly.
- Keep detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular site walks to oversee the progress and quality of work.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to test and verify installation quality.
- Educate site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in quality control, specifically in mechanical and plumbing.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, including relevant codes and standards.
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to conduct extensive on-site walking and inspections.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality control or related fields are beneficial.
