We are seeking a full-time(rotating day / night), weekends only experienced nurse in the field of cardiology or telemetry to join our team on the Progressive Coronary Care Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital (Inova Schar Heart and Vascular).

This is a weekend premium position- weekends only. PCCU is a fast paced, top performing unit with core values or teamwork, patient advocacy, and excellent patient care.

Our specialty patient population includes but is not limited to :

• AMI / NSTEMI / STEMI pre and post PCI / PTCA
• Interventional recovery
• Pre-operative open-heart patients
• CHF exacerbation requiring Bipap / highflow / high level diuresis
• Arrhythmia management including TVP, AICD, PPM, and antiarrhythmic loading

Schedule : Full-Time / Rotating (Days / Nights) - 3x12 hr shifts - weekends only

Requirements : Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting

Minimum Education Requirement : BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)

Minimum Licensure / Certification Requirement :

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
