Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Job Description :
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional efficiency, a strong knowledge of nursing procedures, and a commitment to patient safety.
A critical thinker who can act swiftly in emergencies will excel in this role.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver high-quality patient care through effective communication and collaboration with patients and healthcare staff.
- Provide treatment and care to ill, injured, and recovering patients.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs while maintaining accurate records.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management strategies.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to established policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
- Work independently under supervision to implement care goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of patients to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support patient care.
- Exhibit motivation and a desire for career growth within the nursing field.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and their families.
License / Certification :
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid nursing license.
Work Experience :
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical nursing setting is required.
Certification : Basic Life Support
