Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to work with a school in Richmond, CA. The successful candidate will work full-time, onsite, for the coming school year.
The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.
The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to support the development of effective communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders
- Work with students individually or in small groups to support the development of effective communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning and progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents and teachers
- Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and equipment
- Attend training and professional development sessions as required
Qualifications :
- Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with children preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
