Job Summary
General electrical work and trouble shooting. Working with outside vendors to ensure electrical installations are correct and done in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties :
Responsible for overall system Preventative maintenance, repairs and vendor relations for the following system.
- General Use & Emergency power systems
- Panel boxes
- Thermal imaging
- Load testing
- Electrical system circuit repairs
- Lighting repairs
- Spotlight
- Event electrical requirements
- NBA scoring & timing system
The following is a list of other duties and preferred knowledge essential for the Electrician.
- Troubleshoot electrical system issues to source and repair; may include gathering quotes from vendors.
- Required to work from aerial lifts and platforms up to 45ft.
- Knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
- Work on event checklist to ensure client satisfaction of arena conditions.
- Assist other team members in painting, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which could include days, nights, weekends and / or holidays.
- Consistently deliver the best in customer service. Model and be accountable ensuring the customers are always put first by living the CRVA Service Philosophy to deliver memorable customer experiences.
- Champion CRVA’s mission, vision and core values and comply with organizations policies and procedures.
Scope of Responsibility
- This job has no budgetary responsibilities.
- This job will have periodic access to confidential data including customer quotes and product costs.
Supervisory Responsibility
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of operating a 2-way radio.
Education and Experience
A High School Diploma is required, and a minimum of two years specialized schooling or related experience in electrical install and maintenance :
Areas of expertise include but are not limited to the following :
- Electrical
- Building automation systems
- Lighting controls
Physical Demands
- The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit;
use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
The employee must regularly use power hand tools.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment could vary depending on the setting.
Travel Required
This job has limited travel requirements.
