CLINICAL PRACTICE MANAGER, MEDICAL FOREST/RIVER 3, OFF SHIFT

Responsibilities :

As an off-shift role this position includes a portion of the hours worked being on evenings or nights. There's also flexibility to work either a 5x8 schedule, or 4x10 schedule.

About the Unit :

Medical R4 RN's work with pediatric patients from 0-21 years of age.

Some of the patient populations we focus on for the medical floor include : General medical, Rheumatology, Neurology, endoscopy / GI, seizure disorders, Asthma, covid -19 and other infectious disease.

No pediatrics experience? No problem! If you have experience working with adult populations, we will provide training on working with pediatric patients and their families while leveraging the adult RN experience you already have.

We will personalize an orientation just for you to set you up for success in the pediatric specialty you are hired for.

Collaborate with Director, Clinical Director, Physicians and clinical staff to manage, assess and enhance the provision of patient care services within the Medical Unit on a 24 / 7 basis to meet continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Children's Hospital.

Develop, implement and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements :

Required Education / Experience :

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing.
  • A Masters degree in Nursing may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelors degree in another field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.

Required Credentials :

  • Current Washington State RN license.
  • National certification in a clinical specialty area must be obtained within three years of employment.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare providers.
  • A copy of Bachelor's degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of Bachelor's degree (or higher) in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.

Preferred :

Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Min to Max Hourly Salary :

$59.18 - $88.77 / hr

Min to Max Annual Salary :

$123,094.40 - $184,641.60 / yr

Salary Information :

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
