Rates for Traffic Control Technician are starting at $18.50 and $19.50-23.00 for Supervisors depending on experience.

Responsibilities :

Setup temporary workplaces for construction / maintenance and utility.

Safely guide the passage of the general public through and around the temporary workplace as well as the safety of all workers on-site.

Ensure safety and efficiency issues are addressed and remedied immediately in the temporary workplace.

Maintain open and professional communication with co-workers.

Report unsafe work situations to management.

MINIMUM of 40 hours per week.

Overtime as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience :

A driver license with a clean driving abstract is required

Must hold a Traffic Control Supervisor or Technician Certification

Protect and promote the interest of Southwest Safety and take actions to satisfy such responsibilities.

Ability to lift / move a minimum of 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
