Position Overview
Our client, a large Pharmaceutical company, is seeking an IT Network & Infrastructure Administrator who will be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and support of the site’s IT network and infrastructure systems. This position ensures reliable network performance, system availability, and user connectivity within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for network infrastructure devices and services.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues .
Support the site’s wireless network and phone systems (analog and digital).
Work with vendors and service providers to maintain network uptime and reliability.
Provide Tier 1 and some Tier 2 IT network support for users and production systems.
Assist with network and system upgrades , configuration changes, and testing.
Support site and IT-related projects as assigned.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standard operating procedures.
Follow all safety and environmental guidelines while performing duties.
Maintain accurate documentation for network equipment and configurations.
Provide occasional after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications
Required :
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience .
3–5 years of experience in IT network or infrastructure support.
Hands-on experience with network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
Experience with networking principles (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
Familiarity with wireless networks and VoIP or analog phone systems .
Familiarity with Critical FDA Computer System Requirements (21CFRPart 11) strongly desired.
Practical experience in implementing & administering networks with more than 500 clients preferred .
Maintain network / infrastructure documentation in accordance with federal & corporate requirements.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred :
Relevant certification such as CompTIA Network+ or CCNA .
Experience working in a regulated or manufacturing environment .
Exposure to network monitoring or management tools .
Understanding of IT security and data protection best practices .

Schedule : Day Shift (Monday – Friday)
This is an onsite position. Candidates outside the state not close enough to commute will not be considered. This is a W2 position. Any C2C candidates will not be considered.
