Position Overview

The In-Plant Solutions Specialist supports large strategic accounts, providing excellent service to ensure long-term customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include assisting with procurement, order placement, and managing MSC ControlPoint Solutions (Vending, VMI, Crib) to maximize value for customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with order placement, quoting, sourcing, and logging cost savings statistics.
• Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions, including inventory and vending programs.
• Determine sourcing strategies for customer projects, collaborating with the Category Team to support savings and shop floor improvements.
• Participate in plant meetings, strategic projects, and Lean / Six Sigma events.
• Collaborate with the account team to enhance customer satisfaction and future opportunities.
• Resolve on-site customer issues by providing sales solutions and consulting with suppliers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and account retention using all available tools.
• Communicate customer concerns to management for effective resolution.
• Work with vendors for sourcing, quotes, orders, and training.
• Promote MSC culture and participate in special projects as needed.

Additional Requirements

Compensation ranges from $43,000 to $60,000 depending on experience. MSC offers benefits, training, and professional development opportunities.
