Position Overview

The AR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable department, ensuring the efficient management of collections, credit management, and month-end close activities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining internal controls and optimizing cash flow for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the accounts receivable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and collections.
  • Develop and implement efficient accounts receivable processes and policies to improve cash flow.
  • Monitor and manage the collections process to minimize overdue accounts and disputes.
  • Conduct credit evaluations and manage credit limits for customers to mitigate risk.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards during month-end close activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable performance and key metrics to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer disputes and enhance customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit management.
  • Proven experience with internal controls and month-end close processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
