CNC Set-up Operator - 2nd shift

Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Set-up Operator - 2nd shift in Gardena, CA.

As a CNC Set-up Operator you will :

• Set up and operate CNC machines including Milling machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints to comprehend work orders.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.
• Utilize CAD software for programming CNC machines.
• Handle materials and operate forklifts for material handling.
• Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication.
• Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills :

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
• 2 years minimum experience
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and logic controllers
• Machining, Milling, and Machine Operation skills
• Experience in performing Quality Control checks.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CAD / CAM software is a plus

Job Type : Full-time

Pay Rate : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
