As icons of the beach scene for 45+ years, we pride ourselves on offering excellent concierge service to all our guests at our multiple locations, spanning from northern Santa Monica to Venice!

We take pride in our menu featuring fresh ingredients and we are now hiring for outgoing and friendly cashiers (although you'll make drinks so it's more like a server / barista role)! We want team members who can offer our guests an exceptional concierge experience, world class service and plenty of hospitality and heart! Job Duties :

• Be able to troubleshoot Square cash register system, basic wifi systems, and point of rental systems
• Communicate and troubleshoot any issues with any of the locations (ex : broken printer, dirty sand, etc.)
• Help with the weekly schedule as well as inputting the schedule into our time system
• Enforce procedures / rules amongst employees and ensure that they are being followed
• Knowing when to cut hours if necessary during the slow season or due to bad weather
• Hire the appropriate number of employees for our peak of the season, ask candidates appropriate questions, and contact references for people applying
• Assist anywhere it is necessary whether that be working inside the cafe or helping open / close rentals outside
• Conduct and submit monthly inventory on retail items, kitchen items, and equipment / bikes (with the help of other managers and employees)
• Order retail as needed
• Check the General Ledger Codes on rental and sale items every day and fix any inaccuracies
• Be in consistent contact with the employees fixing their issues, answering questions, etc.
• Code invoices for the corporate office and organize them alphabetically
• Unlocking stores, opening the safe, and turning off the alarms on a daily basis for employee access
• Answer emails, voicemails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Make rounds at each location as often as possible and ensure that the setup is on par with our standards
• Inputting reservations and tips into our calendar and making sure that employees are aware of them
• Covering call-outs and communicating replacements to the supervisors
• Consistently check for open contracts or mistakes in our rental system
• Place bread order based on need everyday by 1 : 00PM
• Check Yelp and Google Business reviews daily and reply to them publicly
• Create a weekly review summary for the corporate office
• Check cameras routinely to ensure employees are present and keeping busy
• Oversee employees daily tasks and give them to-do lists accordingly
• Ensure that employees are sending daily setup pictures to management directly after setting up for the day
