Director of Public Works

Position Overview

The Director of Public Works is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and management of the City's Public Works Department. This position oversees four divisions and their respective Superintendents : Sewage Treatment Plant, Water Department, Parks & Recreation, and Streets & Alleys. The Director ensures that City infrastructure, utilities, and recreational services are safe, efficient, and responsive to community needs.

Salary Range :   $115,000. - $125,000. per year.

Please note that all employees (with exception to police) must establish and maintain residency within five (5) miles of the Morris City Hall within one (1) year from the date of hire.
