Summary

The successful candidate will need to work in the Topeka, KS office at least 2 to 3 days a week. This position requires working with the client (KDHE) and providers to process checks received by mail, including check referrals from KDHE as well as refunds due b ack to the providers.

The successful individual must maintain the private health information of patients and clients in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Your role in our mission

• Handles refund checks and state warrants received from healthcare providers and State agency.
• Contacts providers by verbal and written to resolve check related issues.
• Responsible for answering client inquiries.
• Responsible for handling AR transfer process, set up expenditures, set up ARs, provider overage, places / removes recoupment caps using the Medicaid System.
• Responsible for analyzing financial data to ensure accurate reporting.

High school diploma required

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
