POSITION SUMMARY : The Captain will attend to the guests of the restaurant, ensuring the quality of food, beverage, and service.
This position requires taking charge of assigned stations and guests, being responsible for the entire guest experience during a meal.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive) :
- Take charge of assigned stations and guests, ensuring exceptional service throughout their dining experience.
- Uphold the highest standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Provide guidance to guests by explaining menu items, offering recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their selections.
- Oversee the flow of service, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Actively take part in daily pre-shifts and trainings.
- Address any guest concerns or special requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assigned section.
- Collaborate effectively with the service team to ensure seamless service operations.
- Act as a leader and mentor to other staff members, providing support and guidance as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :
- Minimum of three years’ experience in upscale casual dining
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional hospitality and guest service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages as needed.
- Manual dexterity for handling utensils and other restaurant equipment.
- Stamina to handle the demands of a busy restaurant environment.
COMPENSATION : The base pay range for this position is Minimum wage + tips.
