Job Summary : We are looking for a dedicated Shipyard General Laborer with a secret clearance to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to support shipyard operations, ensuring the efficient and safe completion of projects.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the maintenance, repair, and construction of ships and shipyard facilities.
• Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, painting, and moving materials.
• Operate basic hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Support skilled trades personnel as needed, including welders, electricians, and mechanics.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and report any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all security protocols and procedures related to the secret clearance.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a shipyard or industrial environment preferred.
• Active secret clearance is required.
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
