Job Summary :
The Store Manager In Training, under the supervision of an assigned Store Manager and Regional Director of Store Operations, works within the specified program duration to develop and exhibit knowledge, understanding, and excellence in key store and donation center operations management.
The Store Manager In Training, working within the scope of Goodwill Northern New Englands Citizenship Behaviors, integrates social, economic, and environmental triple bottom line objectives into thinking, planning and action.

Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year successful supervisory experience at Goodwill; or 1+ year successful store manager / assistant store manager experience with full P&L responsibility in a small box or C-Store environment;
or 1+ years of successful management experience in a big box environment
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Ability to work in, or transfer to other locations as needed
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Eagerness and ability to successfully learn and grow within the role and the company
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude in order to be a great teammate, role model and effective leader
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Financial, administrative and computer literacy necessary to successfully complete the responsibilities of the role.
- Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record and insurance meeting agency standards
- Criminal background check that meets Agency standards.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 4-year college or Bachelors Degree
- Prior retail experience as supervisor or manager
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Multi-lingual including ASL
- Prior multi-unit retail experience

Required
