Happier Grocery is looking for a Health Advisor to join out team! You will engage with each customer as they enter the beauty zone at Happier Grocery.

The ideal candidate will quickly be able to adapt to the brand, values, and culture of the company, evoking passion and excitement for the process in all involved while providing an upbeat and positive client and team experience.

Because we are a small team, we all wear many hats and are happy to roll up our sleeves and lend a hand whenever needed.

Can-do attitudes and respectful, inclusive outlooks are greatly valued and expected of all team members.

This role is for 365 Canal Street, New York, New York or 161 Water Street, New York New York

Primary Responsibilities

  • Educate and share product knowledge, ingredients, features & benefits and demonstrate when necessary.
  • Complete customer transactions in a professional, timely manner.
  • Maintain a smart and well-groomed appearance when in uniform to convey a professional image of self-confidence and competence.
  • Identify customer’s communication style and service to their personality.
  • Provide helpful, friendly assistance in a sincere manner.
  • Ensure floor presentation meets Happier brand guidelines.
  • Network where appropriate to further brand awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain compliance and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure stock is always kept full within the prestige categories.
  • Ensure all resets and planograms are correctly executed and maintained.
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Engage in conversation with each customer as they enter the beauty zone; listen to and be sensitive to the customer's information, be conscious of their needs and provide specialized sales advice.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the retail industry / guest services experience (preferably within beauty).
  • Good verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with team, multitask and prioritize.
  • High energy level and positive approach to job and responsibilities
  • Ability to function, adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced, very competitive and rapidly changing environment.
  • Full week availability to work five days per week including peak hours and weekend
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to quickly identify unique opportunities for customer acquisition.
  • Ability to build relationships and embrace change.
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition

Salary : 20.00-23.00 USD Hourly

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $20.00- $23.00 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history / job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
