Led by a pioneer in the field of RNA therapeutics and supported by Fapons Greater Boston R&D Center of Excellence, were pulling together a team of talented scientists, leaders, and operations specialists to solve some of the major barriers to success that RNA therapeutics face.

In vivo studies play a pivotal role in assessing and validating the efficacy of therapeutics on our platform and in expanding our therapeutic pipelines.

We're in search of a scientific contributor to spearhead the development and implementation of biomolecular analytics for RNA medicines using nanoparticle-based delivery platforms.

This position entails hands on in vivo study support as well as overseeing downstream biomolecular analytics for all samples derived from in vivo studies.

The ideal candidate should possess experience handling different murine models, ability to dose via multiple routes of administration and proficiency in various molecular techniques.

They will be deeply engaged in scientific exploration, driven by our mission to pioneer therapies that revolutionize healthcare possibilities.

Job Description

  • Assist in in vivo study designs, execution, data generation, and analysis
  • Maintain rodent breeding colonies
  • Conduct dosing, blood collection, and necropsy for rodent studies
  • Process the collected study tissue and execute molecular techniques for assessing nucleic acids / proteins including but not limited to PCR, ELISA, Western Blots, and Flow cytometry
  • Maintain an immaculate data record of the studies in an electronic notebook
  • Maintain key pieces of equipment, and manage maintenance contracts
  • Foster collaborative relationships across the team and company and engage in a positive and exciting work environment

Minimum Qualifications

B.S / MS in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field, preferably with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

The title will be commensurate with experience.

  • Experience working with murine animals, including animal handling, dosing, blood and tissue collection
  • Experience in biomolecular analytics (ELISA, PCR, Flow Cytometry)
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and in vitro dosing
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with maintenance of rodent breeding colonies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences with varying technical depth.
  • Strong collaborative instinct with good time and resource management skills to match the fast-paced start-up work culture.
  • Able to collaborate on and execute multiple parallel studies.
