Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- California Child Development Teacher Permit preferred.
- Child development experience preferred.
- Knowledge of open classroom and diagnostic teaching.
- Able to team teach.
- Active involvement with parents and community.
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required.
- Knowledge and understanding of child development.
Responsibilities :
- Provide an educational and developmentally appropriate program for children.
- Supervise paraprofessionals, students and volunteers.
- Organize parent involvement activities.
- Determine and assess skills and knowledge of children using materials and assessment tools.
- Input and analyze data based upon the assessments.
- Handle other duties as assigned by site supervisor.
