As a Helicopter Mechanic, you will be entrusted with the maintenance and repair of the Army's advanced fleet of helicopters. This position demands precision and dedication, and provides an opportunity to work on some of the most technologically advanced helicopters in the world. Perform regular maintenance and diagnostic tests on Army helicopters to ensure machinery is operable and safe for flight. Diagnose and repair hydraulic, engine, and structural components of helicopters. Follow strict safety and regulatory compliance measures during all maintenance procedures. Update and maintain repair logs and maintenance documentation. Assist in the ordering of supplies and spare parts. Supervise and train junior mechanics and support them in their duties. Coordinate with pilots and crew members to discuss and resolve mechanical issues. Participate in field and deployment missions as required. Strong mechanical and technical skills, particularly in aviation and hydraulics. Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address aircraft issues. Meticulous attention to detail and precision. Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
