License & Certifications

  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in California .
  • National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Experience

While specific requirements may vary, most locum CRNA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting.
