open for a full-time Program Manager supporting a contract with the Department of Energy in Phoenix, AZ. The Program Manager will perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations performing professional services support to a DOE client.
The PM will organize, direct and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities and ensuring all contract deliverables are being met.
Demonstrates written and oral communication skills; has the authority and responsibility to identify and commit resources required to support effort.
This is a hybrid- position with onsite responsibilities mainly in Phoenix, AZ
Tasks will include but are not limited to :
- Coordinates the operation of departments to confirm that assigned programs are completed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Takes proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.
- Regularly communicates with customers / clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
- Responsible for all recruiting and hiring for the project as well as staff management
- Regularly communicates with staff to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
- Ensures that customers and / or clients are regularly informed of the status of the program.
- Regularly communicates with management regarding the program’s status and any problems or potential problems.
- Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
- Responsible the on-time delivery of all project deliverables
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least five years of related experience preferred
