Soliant is seeking a dynamic and compassionate School Special Education Teacher to join our team in Allen Park, MI. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and support students, helping them achieve their fullest potential.
Job Description : As a School Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the academic and personal development of students with special needs.
You will work closely with students, parents, and school staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student performance and IEP goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
