About the Team

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented SAP FICO Business Analyst to join our team! As the Sr. Business Systems Analyst FICO within VIZIO’s Information Technology team, this individual plays a critical role working closely with the business and across the Information Technology department defining, delivering, and supporting IT business solutions and supporting roadmaps utilizing SAP FICO module.

• In summary this position : provides cost effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications;
• includes evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, current processes, translation into recommended future processes, proper system requirement specifications and configuration;

formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements.

• Operates as a liaison between IT and the appropriate end-user department; evaluates and translates end user needs and problems to the business application team and / or vendors where appropriate;
• understands the business implications of technical solutions, and assists in defining and documenting the technology solutions to support any future business needs;

teaches end users new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing hands on support for existing system.

To be successful in this role, you must have exceptional problem-solving and communication skills as well as a strong understanding of SAP FICO and the integrated modules.

What You Will Do

• Own and drive SAP FI / CO design, configuration, and implementation in the following areas : AP, AR, GL, New-GL, Electronic Banking, Controlling, COPA, Asset Accounting, SAP Fiori etc.
• Collaborate with strong working knowledge on key SAP integrations with SD, MM, PP, Product, Costing, Basis, Security with other SAP team members.
• Manage SAP integration with external systems including AP Invoice Automation and P2P Processes, Tax, Close Management Systems, Credit Card Applications, such as Avalara, Xsuite, Blackline, Cadency, TM1, etc.
• Deliver solutions with thorough understanding of accounting business processes and SAP functionality and solutions.
• Work with vendors to translate and trouble shoot day-to-day issues and during implementations.
• Partner with business team members in automating and improving processes in the FICO area.
• Documentation of configuration, design, and implementation elements allowing for easy support and knowledge transfer.
• In upgrades, test, monitor production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users.
• Lead projects / partner with the business on Finance projects that meet end-user needs and improve financial results.
• Develop SAP Queries and Functional Specifications to meet reporting requirements.
• Design and develop interfaces like ALE / IDOC or EDI / IDOC where needed with good technical knowledge and partner with inhouse PI experts.
• Multitask several projects and support items at once, prioritizing projects to ensure the most valuable projects are completed on-time.
• Work with key business users to define project objectives and requirements.
• Develop and execute against a project plan and deliver results on time and on budget.
• Create presentation / workshop decks for Blueprint and present them to the leadership across the organization.
• Create Process Flows in Microsoft Visio for the proposed business processes and demo proof of concepts.
• Create Process Definition Document / Design Document (PDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP) for the solutions provided.
• Strong understanding of SAP Architecture and Transport Management System.
• Use JIRA, Confluence to track and close tickets and deliver projects.
• Understanding of external applications such as TM1, Recurly, and other Subscription Engines is nice to have.
• Use Agile and other structured implementation methodologies.
• Learn, support and fill-in for other team members, if required.

About You

• Undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or something similar and 6-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or something similar and 4-8 years relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP Implementation methodology, project management, analytical / problem solving skills and relevant business and technology skills.
• In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise.
• Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery.
• Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.
• In-depth understanding of the company's goals, customer requirements and knowledge of competitor practices.
• Thorough understanding of the company's business priorities, strategy and direction.
• Thorough understanding and management of customer business needs and expectations.
• Working knowledge of and ability to put into practice commonly used SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
• Advanced functional knowledge of SAP for the supported business functions and processes, including Finance Accounting (FI)-New GL, Controlling (CO)-CCA, PCA & Internal Orders, Enterprise Controlling (EC)-COPA, Asset Accounting (AA), and Treasury (TR) Investment Mgmt.
• Advanced knowledge and ability to create reports using SAP Queries, report painter and report writer.
• Working knowledge and exposure of SAP for the supported business functions and processes, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Mgmt.

MM), Cross Application Components(CA), Business Warehousing (BW), Human Resources (HR), and Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) ) preferred, Logistics Information Systems preferred, and MySAP preferred.

• Experience / Certification in S / 4 Hana will be an added advantage.
• SAP Certification on FI-CO Module - Good to have.
• Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP / 4 Programming to support effective and optimal solution design analysis, deployment and support of SAP solutions.

Examples of knowledge include : ABAP Workbench, Menu / Screen / Report Painters.

• Business Workflow (BC-WF), SAP Script, Business Connector, Business Service Pages, Dialog Programming, Repository Information System, IDOCS, Smart Forms, ASAP Methodology, and ABAP Query.
• Working knowledge of SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance capabilities to support VIZIO’s GRC strategies in the following areas : Financial Compliance, Access and Process Controls, Global Trade Services and Environmental Regulations.

For California-based employment : The minimum salary for this position is $116,000.00 / year. The maximum salary for this position $150,000.

00 / year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
