About The Position
Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1Job Specialty : Staff AugmentationJob Duration : Long-term assignmentShift : Day - 5x8 - 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, Monday to FridayGuaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per weekExperience : Must have considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programsLicense : LPC or LSW License requiredCertifications : N / AMust-Have : Experience with sex offender servicesJob Description : - Work under clinical supervision as a member of a sex offender team.
- Responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders.- Complete screenings and assessments.- Conduct group and sex offender interventions using evidence-based correctional program strategies.
- Write reports and maintain necessary data documents to satisfy federal, state, and local agency requirements.- Enter documentation in electronic health records for all inmate encounters and contacts.
- Complete miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol.- Prepare transfer and discharge summaries.- Consult with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment, and service needs.
- Attend meetings of sex offender program supervision.- Participate in in-service training and workshops for professional development.
