Overview : We are looking for a Business Analyst to help streamline and improve the processes at the Office of Technology Services (OTS).
In this role, you will collaborate with different departments (such as finance, procurement, and accounting) to understand how they operate and suggest improvements, especially using technology.
You’ll assist in creating documents and plans to acquire the right technology, ensuring everything complies with Louisiana’s procurement laws.
Responsibilities :
- Work with management and teams to understand current processes and document them.
- Analyze how technology can improve these processes.
- Assist in creating business cases and reengineering processes for better efficiency.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions.
- Help develop project plans and timelines.
- Draft and assist with procurement documents (ITBs, RFIs, RFPs) and contracts, ensuring compliance with state laws.
Skills Required :
- Min 7 years of experience with strong understanding of business functions (e.g., accounting, finance, procurement).
- Min 7 years of experience with knowledge of how technology integrates with business processes.
- Experience with Louisiana state procurement laws.
- Min 7 years of experience with Ability to develop clear project plans and conduct cost-benefit analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for working with various teams.
Desirable Skills :
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Basic data analysis (Excel, Power BI).
- Knowledge of contract management software (Conga, Coupa).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
